is a graduate of The Natural Gourmet Institute of Health and Culinary Arts, in New York City. Her culinary aesthetic is whole, local, seasonal, organic, fresh ingredients, prepared deliciously, drawing inspiration from a plethora of different cuisines as well as her own Italian/Puerto Rican roots.The seeds of her lifelong love of all things culinary, were sewn as a member of a family which has always been passionate about cooking. Her desire to learn about different cuisines continued throughout her youth. She spent countless hours in her Aunt's kitchen in Caguas, Puerto Rico learning, recording, and savoring the art of whole, fresh food. She believes that the path to optimal health begins with the food that we eat, the way that it is cultivated, where it is harvested, and how it is prepared.
